This demonstration used the E-Z Audit Intranet Module to show you
E-Z Audit's capabilities online via your intranet or extranet.
E-Z Audit performs audits from your LAN or WAN without any
Intranet module required and with zero user intervention or
interface being displayed.
The intranet module is generally used for remote users or small
branches that don't have WAN connectivity to the main office, or in
fact have only peer-to-peer at these small locations.
In all cases, including use of the Intranet Module no dedicated
servers are required and no data is sent anywhere outside your
network.
Once registered when you use the Intranet module to perform audits you can have the
user automatically redirected to an "Audit completed" page that you design.
You can use that page to:
- Instruct the user to attach and email the audit file - which is the only
file in the root of their My Documents folder with an extension of .EZ11,
for example PCNAME.EZ11
- Create your own upload script so the user can send the file to you in
that manner.

The Intranet module is the ideal method of auditing for:
- Remote branches that don't directly log into your LAN or WAN
- Home based users or road-warriors that work away from the office
- User's whose PCs log into non-Windows/Netware servers
